i really admired manila before...some of the building is still there but was neglected and not preserved so sad to see those infrastructure decaying...

This is a very rare find. Surely a national treasure. I heard a lot of stories about pre-war Manila from my grandparents, teachers and my parents. They cry when they remember how Manila looked like before the war. Only ruins remain after the heavy bombardment during the liberation. I studied at Letran in the 50's (less than a decade after the war) and I saw the ruins of magnificent buildings and churches. It was such a sad scene.
