Abortion is not "vicious slaughter" nor is it painful in any way for the fetus. If anything, the mother suffers, but remember how the procedure was HER choice? (i.e. NOT yours or anyone else's)
I'm sorry but in no way does ANYONE have a right to judge what another person does with their body or their lives.
Personally, if I were in the situation, I probably wouldn't choose abortion BUT that does NOT mean I will condemn any other woman for choosing it for herself. Judgment is what's wrong here.

How can you say that when people are killing and torturing poor helpless animals everyday
And it could ruin your life if you had a baby when you were 16

I'd love to face any of these neo-nazis face-on and tell them why I aborted, and see what they could say in defense of their religion or their judgement, of me, or of any stranger they harass w/ gory images. I think using gory images to harass, incite fear, and emotionally manipulate people is a form of domestic terrorism. I cannot protest porn by showing pics of people shitting on eachother, or something can I? No, b/c that is offensive.. yeah, these people are doing the exact same thing.

@BibleWizard2 I can appreciate the main point you are trying to make, but please use correct information. Latex condoms when used properly are upwards of 95% effective in protecting against AIDS and unplanned pregnancy.

No one wants to have a baby that was there because she was raped, it'd be a daily reminder of a horrible time.
like i said,
Her body; her choice
-
@Xavierssweetmusic rape isn't an excuse
-
@WishTheFirst there are PLENTY of women who've kept the baby even after being raped. and there's PLENTY of ppl born from rapes who don't regret the fact that they're still alive regardless of how they were conceived
-
@Jtspencer234 so since it's ok to abort babies because "they don't feel anything" then I must have a right to kill a 1 year old, because I have a scar on my eye from when I was 2 and don't recall a thing. did that give my mom the right to kill me if she thought I was being "a parasite."
Uh, mothers hold speakers to their stomachs to train their babies in music and literature. Will they agree that their babies are "not even remotely aware of what is going on or what it is"? Luke 1 says John the Baptist, at 6 months, could recognize, and express joy, at the voice of a woman favored of God. Does your theory that babies "are not even remotely aware of what is going on or what it is" have any basis at all?

If we can dismember our very own babies, who never hurt anybody during their whole short lives, how much stronger a case we can make for executing everyone who has ever been born, who has hurt other people thousands and millions of times! Let's start this ball rolling!

Sure, why not? Why limit the slaughter to wombs? Let's get beyond that narrow thinking, and slaughter the critics of slaughter too! Or better yet, everybody! If life in the womb is not sacred enough to save, whose is?

I certainly acknowledge that sin is a gender-equal destroyer. But condoms? Do you know the failure rate on those things? You might as well go sailing in a sieve. They offer 0 protection from AIDS. But the greatest destruction from promiscuity is not the risk of unplanned children or the ravaging disease, but the certainty of hearts hardened to the quality of love that cares for others more than self; that never deceives for pleasure, that is permanently committed to a wonderful relationship.

When you can call a tender heart for millions of slaughtered babies, whom Prov 24:10-12 tells us to "rescue", "evil", beware that your heart does not become so hard that when you stand at the fork of the road between Heaven and Hell you do not shake your fist in the face of God and call Heaven "evil".

"Poodlepink" is right insofar as she means the world's highest standard of love and Justice ought not be challenged carelessly, but se...mal is right to be unsatisfied with a theology that does not address an appearance of injustice in God. The key is to understand that death and suffering are not cruel, per se. Ie: the surgeon's knife, vs. the gang leader's knife. A parent's just spanking, vs. a drunken father's beating. Hebrews 12 explains that God's punishment even proves His love.
