Nightmare Dual Wield Rogue vs Meredith and her goons

Simplicity is the best, I just auto-attack + use burst damage spells on CD, I don't do anything fancy. I don't like micromanaging and pausing, it's the same way I play Mass Effect 2. If you can build a party that you don't have to manage - basically with good use of tactics you can take on any mob and enemy in this game. Literally, nightmare felt like casual after level 7 +.
Note: If you watch closely in the end, Fenris takes Meredith and I out at the same time.
Tactics (Passive), Actives:
Hawke - (Speed, Parry), Vendetta, Mark of Death, Assassinate, Twin Fang, Auto-attack x 10, Explosive Strike, rinse and repeat
Aveline - (Shield Defense, Bodyguard Hawke, Battle Synergy) Taunt, Shield Bash, Scatter, Bolster, Bolster, Bolster, Taunt again..., basically just tank like a boss
Merill - (Blood of the First, Rock Armor, Arcane Shield) Barrier Weak Allies, Throw all nukes, Chain Lightning Staggered Enemies, Autoattack, rinse and repeat
Anders - (Vengeance, Rock Armor, Elemental Weapons, Heroic Aura) Permaheal, Permahaste, Permabarrier, Paralysis, Repulsion, Nuke sometimes, Martyr (for permaspells!), life and soul of my party
Meredith Fight Strategy:
1st Phase [Meredith just attacks you with autoattacks, knockback ability and slow lightning nuke] - just charge her and throw everything but the kitchen sink til she loses a quarter of her health. You can even close your eyes here and just press the attack nearest button. Anders will keep you alive (with proper tactic setup of course ^^).
2nd Phase [1st Guardian comes, auto-attacks, whirlwind attacks] - again just close your eyes and autoattack this dude, his whirlwind attack will probably take 20% hp if Aveline is bodyguarding you, again trust Anders to keep you and Aveline alive
3rd Phase [Meredith comes back, uses same old stuff] - again use all abilities for burst damage, and just autoattack, she will retreat with her tail behind her legs in no time and will send her "strongest weapon" in soon
4th Phase - [2nd Guardian comes and (Fenris), auto-attack, rapid front flurries, whirlwind] - this is where the problem begins because Fenris can join the fray! Fenris is the real enemy here, all his spells can one-shot you because of friendly fire. Make sure he uses his spells (Reaper + Mighty Blow) before charging in. Once he uses this, position yourself opposite Fenris and not next to him otherwise, he will cleave you to death and not even Anders can heal you with one shot attacks.
5th Phase - [Random statues + Meredith comes back with a new power an aoe lightning blast] - again, stay away from Fenris and keep an eye on him, keep an eye on Meredith, once she starts charging up run away because if you have some lost health her lightning attack will one shot you and Anders has to use Regroup to bring you back...
6th Phase - [Tanky 4 legged guardians + statues + Meredith] - again just watch out for Fenris and snipe Meredith with burst damage spells when Fenris targets other enemies, protect Anders and Merill at all times make sure the statues are not focusing on them.
7th Phase - [Meredith uses an aoe stun ability then starts talking...] - run away when she charges her stun then don't be stupid like me and attack the tank quadrupod statues, just take a dump on Meredith while she stands there and talks like a n00B. You'll literally get like 30 seconds of free shots on her... just don't get stunned beforehand LOL. Meredith will die before she can even do anything.
the defense aura adds like 5% defense. it's marginally helpful, on a second nightmare playthrough with a warrior, i just upgraded hexes and it worked well either :/.
for some reason anders always seem to be a core in nightmare... due to the amount of damage tanks will take and the cooldown of healing pots.
