  • This is literally the only time I've heard a crumhorn and liked it.

  • @elizabethnejlah

Thanks! I'm just about to build new cane reeds for those crumhorns (based on historic pictures and books) and I hope they will sound even better the next time! cheers.

  • Thats magnificent . Thanks a lot

Thanks for you comment, I really appreciate it! Please watch our new videos: Tielman Susato - Madrigal & Herkulestanz and our new released crumhorn consort music.

  • is this the piece written down by Praetorius or another version? muito ben!

  • @s2p3c

The bass line is the same written down by Praetorius. This theme, though is much older than Praetorius. We've adapted the piece to sound modal.

  • The best part is the authentic period dress! Where can I get a collar like that?

I'd be the star of the show the next Texas Crumhorn Conclave!

  • Otimo! Parece quasi o mesmo escada em qualquer predio no Rio... Quem advinharia que estara tao bom p'ra toque de Crumhorns!? LOL Yeah My wife is from Copacabana, spent a LOT of time in tose stairways and they DO echo. Good choice, and really really nice playing of that piece. If you will be playing anywhere, would love to have my sons (all drummers) see you play next time we are in Brasil. Cheers from Arizona!

  • This is awfully good played. I myself used to play the soprano crumhorn in our renaissance group so I know how breathtakening it is.

  • parabéns por conseguirem tocar tão rpeciso e afinado esse instruemnto. tenho um crumhorn alto desde 2007 e nunca consegui tocar afinado :(
