Hello, Youtube! Welcome to my first upload. I haven't gotten my hands on Skyward Sword yet, but when I heard the soundtrack I fell in love. I set aside a day to cover my favorite melody, which I think is the prettiest in the franchise since the Song of Healing.

Live instruments are the ones I listed: oboe, English horn, low D whistle, D pennywhistle, tenor ocarina.

Original music by Hajime Wakai. Thanks for listening!

  • Someone should turn this into Zelda step

  • @fieldofreeds the Behringer B-1 would be good for woodwinds, i think. it works well for vocals and pretty much everything in that loudness range. you'll need a 48v phantom power supply though, so you'd need an interface. you can pm me and we can discuss this type of stuff if you have any questions

  • @evesira Thanks, I really appreciate it! I'll definitely upload more random tracks once I pick some, and I hope you like them. (If you have any thoughts for woodwind-based ones, I'm open!) I'm looking to find a good mic for recording, but I'm not sure where to start. Any suggestions?

  • @fieldofreeds man that's really impressive. i really want to hear more uploads from you. if you are ever in the area, or wanted to travel, seriously let me know. also, my "studio" is a modest one, in my apartment, with sound panels that i made, cheap but excellent condenser mics, and some mid range monitors. music equipment today is so much cheaper than it used to be, and with a lot of research, you can get all the best stuff for a studio for not that much
