MatchMove 2

a match move clip i recently did with some footage i took in the car, i used Autodesk MatchMover 2010, Maya 2010 and after effects cs4, this may be one of the most perfect track i have ever done, theres practically no slipping at all.

How do you place objects behind trees, cars ext for pictures or movies in Maya?

Like how you have the space ship behind trees.

@lostmic its not done in maya, its done in post using whater program you use to composite the 3d and 2d together for instance i used after effects and masked the lights and trees.

Nice, I wonder if you can help me... once I imported the MM file to Maya.. how can you make the camera imported & the object (in a layer).. not only visible but to make the object tracked and be able to use the select tool while watching the video background. I know that this has to do with layers but few people explain this,, they just say import the video to maya and thats it.

well, in order to make the video appear you have to make the video into an image sequence then use that as the image plane
