Just a note on what I said at 0:46, a bass in techno/trance is not supposed to be complicated. It should be catchy and simple. However other genres of course, will have more dynamic and complicated rhythms (eg blues or folk rock, maybe some chill out music too, there are many more too). However in techno/trance, even though the bass is simple, it has to be loud and dominant.
