Watch John talk about filling out the U.S. Census form.
Transcript:
Hello. Im filling out the 2010 Census form because it is important to let people know that we are here. If we miss counting the 10% of people in Minnesota who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing and DeafBlind because they did not fill out the form and mail it in, then people will overlook us and our needs because they did not know we are here. The law requires that you fill out the form, but your personal information is protected and cannot be shared with anyone, including the police, the I.R.S. and Immigration. You only need about 10 minutes to answer 10 questions about things like your name, age, race and homeownership. You will not be asked for things like your bank, credit card and social security information. Please help us. Stand up and be counted by filling out your 2010 Census form.
