Grace, Beauty and the Cross! P-38 Lightning aerobatics, metal soundtrack

Me performing a few aerobatics in IL-2 1946 with Ultrapack 2.0n.
Aircraft is the P-38L late model, map is Slovakia Winter.
The single engine rolls and the no engine roll are meant to be a humble tribute to Bob Hoover's legendary shows as well as to the wonderful design of a true american legend, the Lockheed P-38 Lightning.

Awsome video! I like 5:10 when you shut down both your engines down while doing some acrobatics, then start them back up right before you stall out. Pretty Risky, but Awsome!

God, I LLLove that plane!! Very nice fly-bys.

How did you get your engines to trail smoke, by the way? I've never seen that in the game, unless I've gotten shot up by enemy planes beforehand, of course. ;p

@antred11 look at sas1946DOTcom , there's a couple P-38 packs (cockpit, FX and various stuff..) and a lot of visual mods, like the propellers you see in this video, definitely not stock IL-2.. Glad you liked the video!

That part around 5:40 with your engines shut off is pretty risky, too. Hehe. I sometimes used to accidentally hit the 'I' key in the game - in another game I play a lot, 'I' is elevator trim up ... in Il-2 unfortunately it usually leads to a very short oops moment, followed by lots of tracers going by my cockpit because I usually can't get the engines restarted quickly enough. :o
