Its nothing, did u try installing drivers and restarting the computer? that worked for me.

i upgraded from a 22" NEC CRT monitor. I got the same lines when trying to run bioshock for the first time since switching displays. But then i enables v-sync and havent seen the problem again. Its a very nice monitor for the price.
Dont listen to user reviews, look up professional reviews cause 99.9% of the people who are happy with the product will never post about it, but most people who had a problem will.

Just had the exact same problem after 1 day of use (dancing horizontal blue lines).
I turned the monitor off then back on and it works fine now. Hope I dont get the lines anymore but somehow I feel this defect wont go away by itself.
Otherwise I'm very happy with my 245bw.

I cannot wait to buy THIS monitor ONLINE and not from a local shop that overcharges by 20%.

VGA or DVI? Pretty sure its a VGA video card trouble. try turning down the resolution to 1024x768 with vga to see if it's still showing
