Sonic Adventure Comparison - DC - GC - PS3

If you are a fan of Sonic the Hedgehog, I want you to read and respond to this.

A video comparing three different versions of Sonic Adventure, with some observations and thoughts.
Sonic Adventure was special for me as a kid, due to the circumstances around how I got it, so I was open to making a video on the game. The new versions that were just released gave me an opportunity to do one, so I jumped on it.

Thank you for being patient while I have been inactive, I will try to be a lot better about this in the future.

I also wanted to say thank you for your feedback, and for watching this or any of my other videos.

My question is, Why wont they just remake the game with HD graphics?

I would happily buy that over either of the Ps3 or Xbox360 "ports"

Many reasons.

First of all, a complete remake from the ground up would be far more expensive and consume much more time/resources than a simple hd upscale/port job like this.

Second, this game in particular didn't age terribly well and would need to be retooled so as to not get eaten alive by the public when it was released. Doing so would surely draw heavy criticism from fans over how they changed the original. It's a lose lose scenario.

I will always beleive that sega should have kept making games for dreamcast! It still had enough specs to last thru playstation 2's life span. Resident evil 4 could have easily been made on dreamcast. It was a senseless console death. If you aggree give a thumbs up.

I loved this game, but as i play it now i realized how finicky the controls are. It's tough to do some of the running, as you nudge the joystick you go flying.

They released this game on the PS3 but only the 4:3 format available. If the DLC is installed the DX logo is added.
