Be careful there. Although I've played a $200 laguna that sounded incredible, and a 5000 dollar Paul Reed Smith Modern Eagle with the fancy Rosewood neck that sounded dead and lifeless, that is not always true.

its not the brand that makes the guitar, its the guitar that makes the guitar, there are thousand dollar guitars that sound like crap and 500 dollar guitars that sound amazing.

The reason he's playing Oasis is because Noel Gallagher has a Paul with F-holes.
He tends to play the songs from the artists that play the guitar.
