The Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital in Ethiopia has treated over 30,000 women who suffer from a birth injury called a fistula. These women, most of whom are rejected by society, get a second chance at life.

Thanks to this wonderful Australian doctor - Catherine Hamlin - and her team of outstanding medics and volunteers from around the world who make this amazing hospital (and treatment) possible. Dr Hamlin is now in her 80's and is full of great energey and inspiration. She operates at least once a week and travels the world to raise much needed funding for her hospital and outreach centres in Ethiopia.!
