One can't help but love the homage Common pays to the late, legendary Gil Scott-Heron in this one as he samples "Home Is Where The Hatred Is". Common's so gifted as a lyricist that he's amongst the greatest just for that alone, but when you truly analyze his revolutionary content and soul, gratifyin poetics, it's no question that he's in the top 10, dead or alive. Much respect to Common for being one of the few modern MCs to have "Sense".
