This video shows how to load and unload 35mm film in a manual SLR camera. The camera used is a Pentax K1000. The process is very similar in an automatic 35mm camera.

  • I loaded it just as you did it, to a T but the rewind knob doesn't turn as I press the shutter. what did I do wrong?

  • @doughgirlie Most likely the film has slipped out of the right side spool.

  • what if u didn't push the rewind release button? Coz I forgot to do that and just forced my way into rewinding it...

  • @snitchma02 you would most likely damage the film or the rewind mechanism
