japan mar 11 2011 tsunami, view from oregon coast

(nothing happened other then a broadcast warning)

the tsunami warning was broadcast 7 or so hours before it was expected to arrive to oregon, i packed my car and prepared to evacuate, a few hours before it's expected arrival we were told hawaii did not get hit and therefor we would probably be fine, but to remain prepared just incase,

we were told by the broadcasters it would arrive around 7:30 am possibly later, i parked my car at the beach and watched the ocean from 6 - 9, i recorded the oceans activity at 8 am, all day long the ocean did not come into the beach anywhere near the amount it does during a typical high tide,
