Integrative Biology 131: General Human Anatomy. Fall 2005. Professor Marian Diamond. The functional anatomy of the human body as revealed by gross and microscopic examination.
The Department of Integrative Biology offers a program of instruction that focuses on the integration of structure and function in the evolution of diverse biological systems. It investigates integration at all levels of organization from molecules to the biosphere, and in all taxa of organisms from viruses to higher plants and animals.
The department uses many traditional fields and levels of complexity in forging new research directions, asking new questions, and answering traditional questions in new ways. The various...

Her teaching ways exude such profound consummate professionalism that makes the material really easy to understand. I lover her youthful enthusiasm with everything she says and does.

They're actually about the same. Over&over&over again in these lectures, Diamond tries to get students to *talk* about the material. YT viewers are faring as poorly, their only comments being "What a wonderful teacher!", "I've learned so much!", etc. And yet no indication that anyone here has learned anything. No discussion of the lecture material. Just idle comments & platitudes.
So what are the large rounded surfaces at the distal areas of the femur called? What function(s) do they serve?

She is a great instructor! I laughed at 13:09 though because I was writing notes, but when I looked at the screen, I thought she was on a ladder or something because the eraser resembles a shoe! :)

I'm taking anatomy this year. I'm a senior in high school and this is a class offered at my school and and I already know the names of the bones she's telling us here now.
