This movie was good and maybe even underrated a little bit. Of course it wasn't The Exorcist level but still worth watching. Donald Sutherland and Sissy Spacek were wonderful as usual but Rachel Hurd-Wood made this film - phenomenal acting!!!

I was very dissappointed in this movie. I have read the books about this incident and was very interested in seeing this movie but it was a mess! They seemed to have come to a conclusion that was not called for. They made the wife a murderer. That was terrible. If they wanted to do that, they should have explored several of the so-called explanations and not made one stupid (in my opinion) conclusion!

oh yes, you are so right! When I heard of this movie I was so excited, because I read the books too and thought this movie would be great! At first, I just couldn't understand the ending, it was so confusing for me. But at the second time of wachting I'd finally understood, but was as disappointed as you. But I really like Rachel Hurd-Wood, she did great in this movie, at least one thing i was happy about! :) (And sorry for my not-so-good English, I'm still learning ;D)
