  • in the 80's i walked a long the old road into the village when it was empty . I fell over and sank full lenght in the mud and had to take all my clothes off in the layby before getting into my car . It was a very hot sunny day .If you remember seeing a 40's blonde with no clothes on hiding behind a car door it was me .Many cars passed me as i was down to my pants .Great fun we have it on video.

  • @FannyAckin lol ... you could have caused a car crash !

  • I like this video it's well made. The first time I went past this lake was in 1984 while staying in Bala for a few days in the spring, it was a nice day. I hadn't realised it was a dam back then till I googled it and passed by there last November 2009 on the way to see a friend, the weather was a different story... Fine rain, spray and very wet, maybe I'll go back one summers day sometime. Thanks Graham.

  • ITS TIME TO RISE ! WAKE UP YOU PEOPLE OF WALES YOU HAVE BEEN SLEEPING FAR TOO LONG WHILE england HAS STOLEN OUR LAND WATER COAL, GOLD, AND TRY TO KILL OUR WELSH LANGUAGE . THIS IS A FILM , THE KILLING OF A NATION ! FE GODWN NI ETO WE SHALL RISE AGAIN ! BUT WILL WE I ASK YOU ! TO SAY WALES HAS MOVED ON ,IS LIKE SAYING FORGIVE eNGLANG YET AGAIN ,HOW MANY MORE TIMES WILL THEY ASK THIS OF THE WELSH ? YES THEY EVEN TOOK OUR DEAD. ASK FORGIVENESS FROM THE SON DAUGHTER WHOS GRANDPARENTS LAY THERE

  • Wales has moved on now & this belongs to history, not now. And another thing, any future dams generating hydroelectric &water supply, should not be opposed.Opposition against a fully assessed project will impede the independence prospects for Wales. There was an obsolete dam near Rhayader that was used to provide water and sanitary for workers working on the Elan Valley & other projects. This 1was used for the bouncing bomb test in the 40's & could be rebuilt to power Rhayader using modern tech

  • @G22PRODUCTIONS. No problem, thanks for replying.

  • Thirty five out of thirty six Welsh Members of Parliament (MPs) opposed the bill (the other did not vote), but in 1957 it was passed.

  • Excellet thanks. 2nd Mov C C could do with being changed for something cheerful to celebrate the Capital of Wales brilliant scheme. Think of the increase in tourism from the Tryweryn. It should be used for 2012. A fantastic setting which would show the world the rich diversity of the UK. Paddles Up. I detect a UTD fan!!

  • I agree with Paul. Welcome to the next level :o)
