how much height do they add to the toe area of the boot?

I have to put my boots into foot pedals all day on my jobs,and do not want any taller toe area cause they need to fit into the foot pedals.

@Rich1028 From Greg Skeen: "Measured from the bottom of the sole to the top of the cap in the toe area, the King Toe measured approximately 2 ½ inches, and the normal safety toe boot measured approximately 2 ¼ inches."

I have a pair of Redwing King Toe boots and love them. Very comfortable and I know they will last (because they're Redwings)!! Keep up the GREAT work guys!!
