  • She has no comprehension of the formal dining service code. In the American style of dining, at rest you place the knife and fork in an upside down v-position at the 5:00 position tines facing up. When you are finished eating you place the fork and knife together (knife on right) tines of fork up at 10:20 position. For the European style of dining when you are at rest you place the knife and fork in an upside down V, fork tines down. And when you are finished eating same 10:20 with tines down.

  • what u learned is the continental style (worldwide), and that's how I learned it too just a while ago in another video by the expert village. I learend that this style is how they use it in England.
