It was my first day of school ever.. I was in kindergarden. I never understood anything until 2 years later.

i was eating breakfast before school, 5th friggin grade and my mom was crying trying to get ahold of my cousin who works at american airlines... he was ok but still that day was horrible.

I was in 8th grade history class when my teacher flew into the room and slammed the door shut. He NEVER acted like that, ever. We all immediately knew something was wrong. He told us what had happened and I was in shock. I admittedly didn't know what the WTC was, but after that moment, I will never forget. I spent the rest of that whole day, and even some days afterward, watching the news, and the footage, and I even built a website to keep my friends and family up to date on what was happening.

i just got back from caseys's (gas station/store) with a couple slices of breakfast pizza,cherry coke and gas getting ready to mow 3 yards that day.sitting there watching tv and saw the whole thing from the beginning....it definitely didn't feel real.
