  • Like how the deer in Presqu'ile were eating all the trilliums and destroying trees throughout the Park they had to be culled or else they would have completely destroyed the plant life that other animals/birds/insects live off of.

    Albeit that the cormorants shown in this footage SHOULD have been killed in a quick and painless manner, and to allow them to suffer is negligence in its best.

  • This video is very biased.

    The cull was a necessary "evil" because if we were to otherwise leave the cormorant populations alone they would no doubt be the end to highly valuable ecosystems. And i know for a fact that Presqu'ile was highly infested by the Cormorant. Its something that had to be done otherwise the ecosystem would fall apart, and the "chain" of life would fail.
