Engine sounds good. Nice to hear the (understated) induction roar.
In the late '80's, I had a '78 Cordoba with a 400 V8. Spark plug changes sucked. It had manual windows and cloth buckets with the floor shifted 727 Torqueflite.

i had a 78 cordoba with a 318 lean burn engine. it was a pos i picked up for 300 bucks i drove for a year and traded for a set of wheels and tires...now my 75 cordoba i actually liked. i paid 100 bucks for it at auction. it had a standard 318. i put a cast iron dual plane and a 600cfm carb headers and true duels with turbo mufflers about $700 over two months. it would get jiggy at take off cruise at 100mph and get 28mpg...sombody stole it =(

Nice. I still have yet to see a 78 Charger. They're supposedly very rare...
The 75-78? Charger Daytona's are really good looking cars, rare too.
Props for keeping it stock though!

It's actually a pretty good car. It's a B-body, so it's layout isn't too hard to navigated around if something needs to be done. The 360 has plenty of "get up and go" when it comes time to pass someone, and oddly enough it handles almost as well as a modern pick-up truck.
Fuel economy isn't too bad for it being a heavy car either. It's about 18-20 highway if I'm nice to it, which I'm usually not.
Don't even ask for around town.

how is the corinthian leather holding up? along with the cardboard interior.. AS much of a car as Montabalm was a Spaniard

Everything's holding up great. The driver's seat leather needs some leather conditioner, but that's pretty much it.
