Just got a new (used) projector. InFocus LP 600 for playing games. Here it is playing some Infamous. Hooked up to PS3 via HDMI. Had to get a M1 to HDMI adapter to connect it to the playstation. The video was taken with an iPhone 3G S. Its a much better picture in person.

  • are you using 1080i in this? Would you say this projector is a good one?

  • @johnvasgird - Yes I am using it at 1080i, and it has been an excellent projector for the price. I picked it up used (craigslist) for $350. However I would stay away from this model InFocus. There is a defect with its light tunnel which can be hard to find a replacement for (google "infocus light tunnel" for info). Newer models don't have this issue. If I handout found the part and fixed it myself it would not have been worth the repair cost. There have been no other problems with it.

  • I just built a screen using a tutorial from engadget (google engadget projector screen). It worked great and really brightened up the picture.

  • Cant wait to get one of these set up =) ...You plan on grabbing some of the material or "screen" paint for it?

Either way still kicks ass to have a picture that big on the wall!
