Her birthday. On Fathers Day, I asked her dad for her hand in marriage, and got an overwhelming yes from him, and the entire family. So on her birthday, nearly 3 weeks later, I took her out to dinner. Before we went, I had it planned to have her favorite bottle of wine and to have the waiters record it. My mom had given her a birthday card, with the message "Wish Big -- You Deserve It!" She also bought her a manicure and pedicure, which she had to be convinced to go for. But she did go, and get french tips, which helped set the ring off that much more.

The waiter was too far away when he was recording, however, you can see me getting down on my knee.
