Lynyrd Skynyrds - Free Bird (Live Cover)

Multiple Angles:
Before we played, the Bassist (Rob) wishes his dad Happy Birthday on the day we played (Feb. 6, 2010) and gets the crowd to sing along. (Skip to 1:35 for just the song)

This is RockInTheBasement covering Lynyrd Skynyrd's legendary rock anthem, Free Bird. We played this song live during our High School's "Pops Concert". It was a mix of the studio version along with parts from Skynyrd's live show. In the ending all solos are improvised while holding the last three chords. Towards the end our Lead Guitarist (Kirby) runs off stage with his wireless setup and goes into the crowd. Anyways....enjoy , the crowd loved it and i hope you do too.

Note: We learned this and practiced it for maybe 2 weeks before playing it live so if it sounds bad thats why.

very good and accurate cover, but i think something is missing, maybe the acoustic rhythm guitar.

@ihatebobsaget1989, that is for sure what is missing. we were thinking of having our second guitar player play acoustic instead, but then when it goes into the solo we would have hade a huge gap where the rhythm electric should have been.
