Shruthi is embarrassed about her sister Anjali and Raghuvaran explains to her. One of my favourite scenes!

  • I am yet to see a tamil movie , which is emotionally more gripping than Anjali.

I wish they remake this film with a different ending.

  • I never thought I would ever say this. IMO, the film is what it is because of the ending. Her death is what makes us miss the most. But every time I watch the movie, I desperately hope she survives.

  • the innocence of her question is so natural and pure

LOL no shruti hassan would have been only about 4 when the movie was released.I dont think anyone knows what happened to this girl.Im assuming she did not continue acting and now doing something unrelated to cinema.Whereas the boy is now a Telugu actor and Anjali baby too acted in a movie as an adult but now is pursuing studies

  • who is shruthi now? is it shruthi hassan?

  • its awesome

  • I've seen some of this movie. The ending is so depressing, but it's a good movie. I first discovered it while reading about "The Memory Keeper's Daughter" on Wikipedia.
