http://dunbarplumbingforums.com/DUNBAR/ - As a Licensed Backflow tester in the cross connection program in the state of Kentucky, we are required to have meetings such as this that bring in guest speakers from time to time. The subject matter at this meeting dealt heavily with the liability as backflow testers how important it is to protect ourselves in the "what if" scenarios that play out in the industry and what we do in regards to code.

Code is a minimum standard, not a maximum. We have to understand in what we do that performing work duties to "code" does not mean we should think beyond minimum standards required in the profession. Keep in mind that we have to be aware of surrounding issues when working on plumbing systems to rule out our action work together or independent of solving problem related issues.
