Anarchy Online Noob Guide Part 5 Leaving Noob Island

This is part 5 in my series of videos showing off how to get started in Anarchy Online.


Now you get to see how to upgrade the Newcomer's Armour, how to get to the Mainland (in this case Rome) and show off the backyard weapon vendor and how to get to RBB.

That trade skill window is new, we used to SHIFT-CLICK items to merge them togetehr.

i not sure but if you buy the newcomer armore at the vendor when u apply the badges the ac's are higher

It's higher level, which you know, the lower level armour becomes, when you right click it -.-

@Fhyber34 kinda late, but hes right.. travis gives you a low QL of newcomer, but the vendor sells higher QL which comes with more AC's when you upgrade.

i always try to get at least 1 alien weapen (usealy a rifle) and 1 alien perk point before leaving.

the aliens will drop weapens and alien spieders give 150 alien exp a kill

Ah, the good old backyard.

It was the original noob place, before there was a noob island, with a crashed spaceship and alien invasion on it. Offcourse, that was years ago that was added, so no loss there.

It still bring back memories, it does. :)

@hardestcoresoldier You can't. You don't need to anyway, just find/buy better armor when you can. Or roll a new character, but you'll eventually have to drop the Newcomers Armor because it only goes up to QL15 (and you're probably around level 10 when you exit the island anyway).
