  • Gorgeous, musical, stylosh playing; de Larrocha was one of the great musicians and pianists. Did her humble servant of the music attitude prevent her from becoming the superstar of her more famous colleagues? No matter; for me, she is one of the supreme pianists, and her command of Spanish music is sublime.

  • This performance it's simple wonderful!

Since last year i didn't know this bigger pianist. She's (respect me) one of the biggest in the history of the piano music toghether Martha Agerich, my idol! Thanks Alice for these wonderful perfomance! we love you!

  • Why are 3 sections missing from this performance?

  • I used to think only Glenn Gould can play Bach; other pianists would distort his music or something's missing somehow, but this piece changed my mind. This is perfect Bach piano in every sense.

  • J' annule! Ecouté ds de mauvaises conditions ss doute!!!! cela m' étonnait et me décevait tellement!!!!! Mea culpa! Bravo Alicia de Larrocha!!! Merci pour cette vidéo!

  • Désolée, je suis très déçue par cette interprétation!!!!!

  • When I was younger, I didn't like this recording that much. Now, I think it's genius.

  • @crob647gtx I agree that the piece is beautiful, but critiquing music and performing music are two very different professions and doing one does not imply or require skill in the other and they should not be compared, no more than if the pianist were to make critical comments about the piano manufacturer.

  • Perfect. Beautiful! I love piano (:

  • This is a wonderfully dynamic and fiery performance which really is quite stirring.

  • Disagree with all of you very critical "music pundits"....This is beautiful Bach piano performance played perfectly and unless any of you can do better, or give me a link to a better performance of this Suite, I don't see you in position to critique this pianist. I love how every "listener" has to post on here as if they're a "judge" as they offer their 2 cents about what's wrong with incredibly Great performances. Gimme a break. Swallow your pride, sit back and enjoy the Bach for Pete's sake

  • @arturon111 ; Disagree with you. ALL Bach's compositions have counterpoint, 4 part writing even his 2 part inventions. You have to learn to distinguish the soprano, alto, tenor and bass in linear writing, but can assure you they are there, this is a device both mozart and chopin learnt from bach later on. As far as Hammer sound of the piano, it is again WRONG, the piano was and is a singing instrument, and deLarrocha was one of the greatest pianists with the most beautifull singing sound.
