@edv177 I get it, it has occurred to me for sometime that the oil spills are staged in-order to create a "SHORTAGE" even the potential for the gulf spill being a "TERRORIST ATTACK" by lets say OPEC has even crossed my mind, and the distraction factor taking the focus off of the GOLDMAN SACHS|SEC case... amazing how the oil rig got capped and the GOLDMAN case got settled on the same day.... NOTHING TO SEE HERE, MOVE ALONG

@SOLIDSTEELEDOTCOM that sounds all good an all but this was most likely staged!! if you remembered the Exxon valdizes, right after it happened a slue of oil spills followed all around. then the price of gas went up and you heard of no more oils spills. i predict gas will go to as high as $8 a gallon after the next bunch of oil spills to come. and a possible carbon tax will be issued. as bush said "were addicted to oil" and there the oil(drug) pushers!! free energy will soon come

@Rev17TheGreatMystery All man has done it. Don't blame just one race. Look at your own energy usage and if you use anything with oil or made from it, you need to rethink your lifestyle. I am doing what I can to cut out my consumption. I hope others will too. Don't buy plastic, or foreign. Try to grow your own food.

A: stretch and secure 100ft of chain link fence across the river from bank to bank.

B: form a pulley close line system across the river

C: use a porous fabric like car carpet to absorb the oil

I have researched the carpet, and it adsorbs very well but still allows for water pass flow, comes in rolls the same size as chin link fence 4ft by 1,2,300 ft rolls.

finally change the sheeting out as viscosity warrants.

If you can trace the flow at each bridge, this can be contained!
