yes....but he has been treated like a monster so long that he began to feel like one ( the same thing happend to frankenstine's monster).
-
actually he is technically human...its just a spell

Well done. the Beast would be a hard character because he ISN"T a human so you haveto let all of yourself go.

listen to the recordings from london and broadway and lsiten to how they do it and compare it top the singers on youtube. they jsut sing its theres no emoition its a louder piece don't belt it but its a power ballad and no one on youtueb sings it as a power ballad

hey im playing the beast at my school and i wanted to know what you meant by no one nails the ending? do u mean emotionally or wut? getbak to me plz :)

i very much agree with him singing not thea beast. Well those who force vibratto are known as belters some who belt as amazing sadly for this performer i can't say he's a good belter. You know what really gets me not a singel performer nails the ending "NO PAIN COULD BE Deeper" i'm like WHY DIDN'T YOU GOSH

i agree. his vibrato is forced. And he lacks the character. its "him" singing not the "beast" and he needed to move around alot more not just stay in one place.
Well, I think he did a great job singing as the Beast. You people must remember that this is a local community theater, NOT Broadway. And they still did a fantastic job with it! Mrs. Potts is the best part of the play!! ^^v

I agree! This is an incredibly demanding song, even for seasoned performers. It's unfair to critique a community theater according to Broadway standards. I think they did a very good job, especially considering how huge of a production this show is to mount. :0)
From this and the other videos, it looks like this was a great show! Bravo!
