I have spent hours watching TMBG videos for no good reason and now I find I want to go and read about science. If these songs were intended to get kids to learn things, they WORK.

Lycopods are really the first trees. 400 million years ao.I believe they evolved from firns, they seem pretty fernlike. Conifers came about 300 million years so you were close.

Isn't the conifer the oldest type of trees on the planet? Conifers have been around since before the Jurassic I'm sure.

My Teacher played this song in class today, some people hated it for some odd reason.

I absoloutley love this, love TMBG, and love puppets. But I have to mention that in the puppetry intro, the mouth-moving was not very well aligned with the words. But that made me smile too.
