Safe is a relative term. In workshops all participants absolutely wear googles, gloves and more. In Brian's world, he has a different flow. He flintknapps religiously and knows how glass works intimately. Remember, don't "should" on folks. Personal experience and desire for personal working methods makes everything relative. BTW, you seem to care:) and that is appreciated.
