@BiboNassim I never said the Shah was absolutely innocent. His father also did not became Shah because of the British. You need to study their history in much more detail, before passing judgement. I am very certain that he was not aware of the daily affairs of the Savak, but he should have been,Why the hell are the Americans and British in iran? It would be nice to think that the Shah was innocent of all that went on in his name, but that was not my observation. He was put in place by the Americans. His own father was a guard of the British Embassy and he was made Shah by the British. The idea that the Shah did not know what the Savak was doing in preposterous. The Savak was trained by the Americans and Israelis. He spent all on American weapons and wheat and US Treasury notes.
