Crumhorns are so amazing. I know that they are not particularly loud instruments, but I really have no idea why, in this world of amplification, they are hardly ever used, except in really wonderful period compositions like this one.

@guitargoddess002 A soprano recorder, an alto recorder and a lute/full-stop harpsichord, I'm guessing. I don't know if this particular recording was performed with period instruments, though. It could have just as well have been recoded with modern instruments.

@sc0ttyb0dy123 This song is epic when you're fighting Kematu and his 6 Alik'r Warriors

Here are my guesses. It's a soprano recorder, a lute (or perhaps a vihuela), a gamba being plucked plus percussion. Later an alto recorder joins them. Then 2 krummhorns/crumhorms (soprano and alto) are used for the last piece around 6:00.

I know this song so well! I sing it all the time. How I love this song. So renaissance :D I usually close my eyes while listening to renaissance music. And when I close my eyes I see a village, with many people being happy and a huge castle with a king and queen, and a nature that is so beautiful that I can't describe it!
