wow!! this is awesome! jon totally has a heart for people! he played a show outside where he was going to play so that people wouldnt have to pay to see him! that is so rad of him!

It's called a lute hole. I use one in my guitar. It looks really nice and kills feedback on stage...

It's a sound hole cover made by Lute Hole (you can google them). It's meant to be pretty and prevent too much feedback without blocking too much sound. :)
