This is the first recorded Italian vocal by superstar singer Connie Francis - recorded when she was only 18. It combines Italian and English lyrics set to a Latin American tango rhythm, a precursor of her many Italian recordings to come throughout the '50s and '60s. (The song was originally featured in the 1955 movie "Summertime, starring Katherine Hepburn and Rossano Brazzi.)
