Powerslave - Iron Maiden Cover

My cover of Iron Maiden's Powerslave. One of my favourite Maiden songs and so much fun to play.

The quality isn't the best but it's ok and there is no video after the solo because my camera decided to stop filming but there is still audio, including some improv during the end section. There were a couple of lapses of concentration during the solo but nothing too major.

Audio recorded using my Parker P-42 through my 0404 E-MU audio interface into Cubase SX-3 running Amplitube.

@Hockey39boy39 Do you mean the amp in Amplitube? If so I'm not sure I think it was based on the Vai solo tone in Amplitube 2/X-Gear (I think) but with a bit of modification like changing delay/reverbs and possibly adding an overdrive pedal at the start of the chain. I could be wrong though as I'm using Amplitube 3 now and am using a different tone. Thanks for the comment though and hope that helps :)

Haha emotion :P The Maverick would have been better but it's well out of tune and needs to be re-strung, and you know how lazy I am. I did miss the signature Adrian Smith harmonic whammyage :(

This is the first Powerslave cover that I`ve seen that isn`t complete shit! Good guitar playing. Every other cover I`ve seen has been by the most god awful guitar players, but you actually understand what they`re doing on the album and can emulate the song farely well. Good guitar soloing too! Props!
