Air to ground missile explosion

A little project I did in my spare time. I used Maya fluids and nparticles for the explosion and I composed the whole thing in Nuke. The background was made in Vue Xstream 7.2. The explosion still needs a lot of work, but since I did this just for fun, I decided to just comp it all and add the sound effects.
