  • Yes it's a good song, actually I don't remember it from P.Paul &Mary. Where and when did the Ybirds sing it?

  • There is little information about these "Radio Session" recordings.

They say these sessions are for certain broadcasting radio station in the UK in 1965 or 1966.

But I think this song might be an outtake from Keith Relf's solo.

  • Wow! Terrific!

Thank you for the great information, Snus!

Would you mind if I posted this info on the description of this video?

  • I don't mind at all... That's a good idea! ;-)

  • Thank you.

    I've posted the info.

I had no idea that Keith performed all by himself.

  • @cinsky77 can't get past the guitar sounding like a sergio soundtrack, but love the yardbirds even if keith always sounds a little whitebread, yardbirds will always blow my mind by there talented guitarist. please don't hate on me.

  • @Wolffishfish nope it from a radio session. even from the get go keith had a thing about folk music this song fits his style to a tee. There is bunch of things that will be coming out soon. this being one of them

  • This a beautiful song! It sounds so sweet and as if it is from medieval times. This is timeless!

  • The Yardbirds were the Most Underated Great bands of all time.

    Great Listing.

  • Yes, this is a traditional song, I just looked up the lyrics to it. Very nice song. It is actually called "Pretty Horses."

  • This is a trad! The BBC wanted a "filler" for the recordings and Keith knew that song!... It's just him here, without the Yardbirds, playing the guitar and bongos! You could say that it's one of his first solo recordings in a way!... ;-)

  • Isn't this a traditional lullaby song or did they write it? I have heard it often performed by many others.

  • Great song.. Keith has such a great voice...

    Thanks for posting....

  • Wow this is such an amazing song. I can't stop listening to this song.
