Wheelock AS-24MCW-FW Test (Code 3)

The Wheelock AS is a fire alarm electronic horn/strobe, used in numerous public buildings. On the back it has a jumper for code-3/continuous horn and another for horn volume, high/medium/low. It also has a switch for strobe intensity, 110/75/30/15 candela, and runs off of 24 volts DC. I have that exact model alarm, but when i hook it up the strobe flashes but the horn does not sound. The jumper is installed on the low setting and i have tested different jumpers on different settings too. Any idea?

@IW5Sirens Make sure your providing the right voltage (24 volts DC).

The middle school I went to for 7th & 8th grade had a system similar to this with Simplex pull stations...except in one building they had old Simplexes which they have since replaced...Code 3 (like this) was meant for tornado drill) and Continous was for fire evacuation...

The VA4's sound different too than the AS/MT.  The VA4's almost sound like TureAlerts.
