His attitide was his strenth. But also his throws. Schmeichel threw the ball as long as an average keeper could kick it. I remember the early nineties. Nobody had ever seen a goalkeeper as Schmeichel before. He acted almost as a playmaker with his throws. He set the attacks from behind.
