  • i hav heard that the clown knife likes stagnant water ..... anyone noes whther they can live without any oxygen pump in the tank ?????? wil these eat the commercial pellets of fish food or do they like bloodworm ??????? is is there that these fish eat during the dark time only ???

  • calm down... search on google, do your own research. You cannot have a stagnat aquarium all the fish will die, we didn't have an air pump. they are really hard to switch to non living foods, ours would only eat goldfish, he went three weeks without eating because we didn't buy him goldfish. and they are nocturnal.

  • thats a royal CK. nice

  • no, its a regular clown knife

  • do they go to the bottom if they're tired or something?

  • i guess

  • @smirnoff2010 u kinda need a pump bloodworms are kinda treats my reg diet 4 dis fish is feeders and hikari cichlid pellets 15 inch in a 320

  • @emeljipuroo Ha ha- Detention!

  • I have one but the electric blue cichlid scares him into hiding behind my tree

what can I feed him to make him come out?

  • @smirnoff2010 They eat anything but if you feed them long term on live food they will either only eat live food or be starved to death. The dont need that much oxygen they go to the top of the tank for gasps of air and If its one of the biggest fish in the tank they get very actice at all times :)

  • hiya! checkout my fish video black ghost knife-awesome fish!

  • @pattrow1992 alsso guppies i think

  • @pineapplerandom - bad idea to do that, its not a pleco that takes forever to grow. it will be a waste of time and money to put it into a 20 gallon. from 3 to 6 inches can happen in a matter of weeks. they can get to over a foot in from 3 inches in 6 months or so. really not a fish that should be kept as frequently as it is since most people dont want to provide a tank large enough. even a 75 will be outgrown pretty fast. nobody with less than 150 gal should even consider keeping one for long
