@KingKook Duchamp's work was in part a response to the technology of his time and its effect on the culture as he saw it happening. How is something like that bad fodder for art? What would be a better thing to draw inspiration from?

Art today isn't the problem. The problem, if you choose to call it that, is the people making art. Or more accurately, the world that surrounds and informs the people making art today. How can you criticize the work of people who are reflecting their reality; their fractured mutated deranged unnatural digitized sampled cloned hybrid instant-ready push button on demand never quiet never alone world. Today's artist's instincts and impulses are just fine, it's the source material that's the problem
