Tons of Ladyfish swarming an underwater dock light. Lots on Snook and Mangrove Snapper too! When the water temperatures dip in the winter, Ladyfish swarm the canals by the thousands. Shallow waters and dark bottoms heat up quickly during the day which are natural attractors. When the sun goes down, these fish flock to the lights for food. Some people even theorize that they benefit from the heat produced by the lights. Either way, it makes for some great winter viewing and fishing!
