In a combination of Jim Crow meets Tammany Hall, New York City officials use political interference to frame Robin Pugh-Perry, a 30 year black female civil service veteran employee to take the fall for the massive corruption in millions of dollars for more than a decade, at the City of New York Human Resources Administration. These political partners include the EEOC which botched and dismissed her case in 2007 after 15 months instead of the requisite 120 days and District Council 37, the city's largest municpal union, whose rep neglected to inform her of several contract violations after she was brought under investigation in February 2006.
