Sergeant Jeremiah Workman shares his story at the American Veterans Center's 2008 conference. Workman received the Navy Cross for his actions during Operation Phantom Fury during the Second Battle of Fallujah.
I read his book that came out in September and it inspired me to become a Marine. Workman, you are a true hero and you inspired me and propelled my life. Thank you for serving in the 3/5 and fighting for our country and for showing people that PTSD is something that you shouldn't be afraid of. I hope I get to meet you one day.
Annaa Baassee(Koyukon Athabascan = means "Thank you") Devil Dog!!! Also for speaking out. Semper Fi!
Kim
P.S. His name plate says he is a "Staff Sergeant" not a Sgt! :)
