Gospel of John 6:16-24

" 16When evening came, his disciples went down to the lake, 17where they got into a boat and set off across the lake for Capernaum. By now it was dark, and Jesus had not yet joined them. 18A strong wind was blowing and the waters grew rough. 19When they had rowed three or three and a half miles,[a] they saw Jesus approaching the boat, walking on the water; and they were terrified. 20But he said to them, "It is I; don't be afraid." 21Then they were willing to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the shore where they were heading.

22The next day the crowd that had stayed on the opposite shore of the lake realized that only one boat had been there, and that Jesus had not entered it with his disciples, but that they had gone away alone. 23Then some boats from Tiberias landed near the place where the people had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks. 24 Once the crowd realized that neither Jesus nor his disciples were there, they got into the boats and went to Capernaum in search of Jesus."

  • They forgot that one of the diciples ask to come unto the Savior and walks out almost to him, but before he gets to the Savior he takes his focus of the Savior and starts to sink. the Lord reaches out and saves him. This is a very significant party that they left out!! It teaches us that when we take our Focus off the Lord and his teachings, we can be consumed by the world and lost.

  • It wasn't a Miracle , Jesus knew how to Flap his Feet very very fast ! Jesus knew a lot of tricks .

  • Christianity in a nutshell: One day god decides to save mankind from HIS hell .He will do it ,by sacrificing himself as atonement for the sins committed against HIM. He choses a people to help with his plan . He prepares his chosen people with many prophecies.. Problem, they may not recognise him as the Messiah, or they will not kill him and spoil his salvation plan. He makes the prophecies murky. His people fall in the trap and kill him. I admit it`s a WONDERFUL divine script

  • @mikelheron20 I am just exposing his insentivity(in a sarcastic way) to suffering. His attitude>> 30,000 died of hunger today, so what, they will be in heaven.

  • @Seabass70x7 The Sermon on the Mount leaves out the bit about those who don't believe in Jesus going to Hell. Shame. That's my favourite part. It captures the essence of Christian charity so perfectly.

  • @ndzoko Im not some idiot who lives in ignorance on his couch bro. I've seen suffering and pain, i've seen foster homes and me and my family were almost forced on the street. But now we're back on our feet. So im not insensitive, i am saying that it is good that the people who suffered so much on THIS earth, will no long suffer in the Kingdom of Heaven.

  • @ndzoko Actually, those 30,000 who died today, will reign in the Kingdom of Heaven, for it is written: "The Meek shall Inherit the Earth" "The Merciful shall obtain Mercy" "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God" and Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness(such as you @ndzoko), for they shall be satisfied.

  • The other day I cam across a christian, who strongly believed, god helped him finding the owner of a stray dog. Another one claimed, god healed his stiff-neck. The 30,000 who will die from hunger today, don`t matter to god anymore. But that stray dog, and that stiff-neck are on his priority list. As they say ; It`s all in the details. What a CARING god. LOL

  • @ndzoko its a deeper subject then that. I would'nt give it justist trying to exsplaine it here.

  • @JDrosa1982 The bible is probably the greatest pile of nonsense ever.
